Since my early years, my mother instilled in me the importance of self-care, and it left a lasting impact on my journey. One day, fueled by courage and a desire for change, I made the decision to embrace transformation. It's true that what we truly desire often lies beyond our fears. It was at this moment that I merged my greatest passions in life: helping others, the art of decoration, and the pursuit of beauty.
My approach to beauty has always been holistic, focusing on nurturing both the inner and outer aspects of oneself. I prioritise my diet, conscientiously choosing nourishing foods at least five days a week. I also emphasise maintaining emotional balance by seeking support from the people who uplift and inspire me. Each night, as I prepare for sleep, I reflect on two positive experiences from the day. And when it comes to my beauty routine, I remain consistent with the inclusion of vitamin C while adapting and tailoring my regimen to the changing seasons, always attuned to the unique needs of my skin.
SN: How do you define the concept of anti-aging, and what are your key recommendations for embracing graceful ageing?
I prefer to shift the focus from anti-aging to well-aging or aging management. To me, it entails making mindful choices that prioritize overall wellness and health as a result of a specific lifestyle. Our daily actions and decisions significantly impact our future well-being. Therefore, I advocate for a holistic approach that encompasses the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of our health.
