Cecilia Perotti moves with ease between science, design, and entrepreneurship. As the third generation behind Vegetal Progress—Italy’s pioneering house in clean beauty and holistic supplementation—she has inherited not only a brand but a philosophy: that wellbeing is built on research, respect for nature, and everyday practice. With her own brand, Cecilia Holistic Beauty, she has reinterpreted this tradition in a modern key, creating formulations that feel both refined and essential.

Motherhood added another layer to her vision, sharpening her sense of how wellness must adapt to the rhythms of real life. From this perspective came her latest project: CHB Holistic Studio in Turin. More than a clinic, it is a curated environment where one can move from reformer Pilates to advanced facial rejuvenation in a setting defined by contemporary architecture and design.

The result is a place that treats beauty and health as parts of the same whole, functional yet aesthetic, scientific yet sensorial. It’s this interplay, between heritage and innovation, professional life and personal life, that defines Cecilia Perotti’s work.

We are delighted to welcome her to Depuravita Magazine, where she speaks about her journey, her inspirations, and her vision for CHB Holistic Studio.

cecilia perotti depuravita interview

With the legacy of Vegetal Progress behind you, the daily life of motherhood, and your own brand to run — how did you ever come up with the idea of opening such a bold and polished holistic studio in Turin (and not Milan or Rome?

My background is a blend of two legacies. On my father’s side, my grandfather founded Vegetal-Progress, a pioneering house in natural and botanical research that was already speaking about organic and holistic wellbeing long before it became mainstream. On my mother’s side, I come from a family of distinguished doctors and university professors in traditional allopathic medicine. My mother herself is a doctor and the mother of four children, and my two younger sisters are both doctors as well.

When I met my husband—who is today my co-founder and the shared soul of this project—one of the first things he asked me was why we had never thought of creating a place that could truly integrate all this knowledge, these different disciplines. A space where every professional could remain independent and free to express their art, but united by a common philosophy: an ethic of prevention, gentleness, and care for the person as a whole. Something very different from the more commercial clinics or medical centers where you often feel like just a number, and where the service rarely feels exclusive or tailor-made. I chose Turin because it is my city, my roots, and the home of my family company. After many years as a citizen of the world, I felt the need to return to this discreet yet magnetic place — a city of quiet elegance, faithful and reserved, yet deeply passionate about art, architecture, and design. Its grand boulevards and aristocratic palaces, its layers of history and modernity, create the perfect backdrop for a studio that is at once functional and aesthetic, scientific and sensorial.

At the same time, I am the founder of Cecilia Holistic Beauty, a brand now expanding rapidly worldwide. This growth requires me to be very present in production and to travel often for international activations. For this reason, it was essential that my first Studio — a dream I had carried for years — would be close to home, not only to remain connected to my family company but also to stay close to my daughter Cassandra, who is at the heart of everything I do. Looking ahead, we are also working in Milan, where Centro Botanico, a historic destination for natural living and wellbeing, will soon host a pop-up treatment cabin of the Studio, bringing our philosophy into another vibrant context.

HER SELECTION

“Motherhood taught me that real balance is found in imperfection, in slowing down and caring without rigidity."

At CHB one can go from reformer Pilates to Botox in the same space. Was this mix the result of a master plan, or more of a “why not bring it all together” moment?

It was very much part of a master plan.

When I first started working on my skincare line seven years ago — still very young — I chose the word holistic precisely because it embodied a broader concept. Not only “natural,” but modern, cool, carefully curated, and forward-looking. For me, holistic has always meant creating a universe where different disciplines can coexist in harmony: from conscious movement to mental well-being, from regenerative medicine to advanced skincare. The common thread is quality, synergy, and coherence — and above all, intentionality.

This approach reflects who I am, but it has also been nourished by my life as a couple. My husband, a former athlete with a lifelong devotion to wellness and consistency, brought an energy that was essential to make this vision concrete. On my own, I would never have imagined bringing together so many professionals and disciplines under one roof. His perspective and vitality became a source of strength to transform an ambitious dream into reality. I truly believe that it is the synergy between disciplines that extends health span — no single treatment or habit, taken in isolation, can achieve the same results. Movement, nutrition, supplementation, mental balance, and advanced dermocosmetics work best when united, when they support one another. And it is important to stress: this is not a “why not bring it all together” approach, and certainly not a quick-fix Botox bar. Everything at CHB is conceived with care, depth, and intention. It is about slowing down, tailoring each ritual, and creating coherence across practices — never rushing, never piling treatments together without meaning. This idea of “well-being from within” combined with high-performance cosmetics is part of our family’s tradition: over 50 years of research in both supplementation and skincare. With CHB Holistic Studio, we are finally able to bring this philosophy directly to the client, in an integrated way that elevates both health and beauty.

The Studio feels more like a design destination than a clinic. How much of that aesthetic vision came from you, and how much from the architects you worked with?

I have always been very passionate about design, architecture, and modernist furniture, and I wanted this passion to be fully reflected in the Studio. For me, beauty is not only expressed through treatments or products — it also lives in the spaces that surround us. When you spend time in a beautiful environment, time flows differently: with more harmony and more lightness.
The vision was clear from the beginning, but it was enriched by the contribution of talented professionals — from designer Serena Cancellier to GT Design for interiors, to the architects who helped translate my ideas into structure. Every choice was shared and carefully considered, and both Alessandro and I contributed actively, because the Studio truly feels like our second home.

That is why the environment itself was conceived to echo domestic spaces: you enter through a living room with a library, skin consultations are held in a space that feels like a private study, while the medical rooms are designed with clean lines, tactile materials, and minimal elegance.
Special attention was given to textiles, with Claudio De Vecchi, who curates installations for some of the most beautiful luxury hotels and retailers across Europe. The chairs are authentic Giotto Stoppino pieces, reupholstered by hand by a master artisan who spent his career at Poltrona Frau. Much of the furniture is vintage, carefully restored to give it new life— a value that is very important to me. Even the sofa, the heart of the space, was found at an auction in Paris after months of searching.

Light was another essential element of the project. We integrated chromotherapy and circadian lighting throughout the Studio, which can be modulated according to time of day or individual needs. Light acts as a true therapy: it boosts mood, lowers cortisol levels, and creates a profound sense of well-being. Even our devices for photobiomodulation, such as the Ove Pro lamp by Lucibel Paris, designed by Olivier Lapidus, reflect this philosophy — combining top-level design with advanced functionality and quality.

The result is a place that feels curated yet intimate, where every detail has been considered, and where design itself becomes therapeutic, amplifying the holistic experience.

And finally, can you walk us through your full daily beauty and wellness ritual from morning to evening?

As a Libra, balance is my natural compass, and my days are built around small rituals that create harmony.

Morning begins with nourishment: a cappuccino made with Guernsey milk from Salvaderi, naturally rich in carotenoids and vitamin D, alongside wholegrain cereals, fresh fruit, and my lifelong Vegetal-Progress supplements, which I have been taking since childhood. I also love to add Magic Potion by Depuravita, with adaptogens that I have been a fan of since the very beginning.

Skincare follows as a moment of grounding. I start with Sacred Sage Cleanser, a purifying ritual with palo santo, then layer Blossom Elixir generously, followed by Silver Future, our biotech Botox-like serum, and finally Golden Glow Serum, which delivers an antioxidant lift and natural SPF protection.
Daytime is dedicated to movement and presence. I carve out time for walks, reformer Pilates three times a week, and some yoga sessions when I need a softer rhythm. At least once a week, I train more intensively at the gym to build strength — often with my husband Alessandro, which makes the effort both energizing and fun. Sharing those sessions gives consistency, and turns fitness into a way of reinforcing both body and partnership.
And when I’m not traveling, I spend many hours in our production site in a natural park just outside Turin. Being surrounded by nature there nourishes me deeply and keeps me grounded, reminding me why I chose this path.

Evening rituals are slower, more indulgent. I begin with a double cleanse — Olio Straordinario followed by Celestial Lait — then apply Blue Oceanic Potion on the T-zone, layer Blossom Elixir, follow with Ageless Crème Riche to nourish the skin microbiota, and close with Eternal Youth Serum, infused with blue flowers rich in chamazulene for their soothing, anti-inflammatory power.

When the day winds down, I try to disconnect through creative research — many of my formulas are born in late-night notes on my phone — or by indulging in vintage shopping online, or reading poetry when my mind feels ready.
Over the years, especially through darker periods, I have learned that the real key to well-being is kindness toward oneself. Strict control and overly rigid habits may seem like discipline, but in truth they often lead to unhappiness and stress — and stress is the number one enemy of healthy aging. Balance, self-acceptance, and gentleness are far more powerful. They shape not only the body and mind, but also the way we age, the way we love, and the way we succeed.
And of course, the most important balance is always with my family. Evenings are reserved for dinner and bedtime with Cassandra, small moments that keep our bond warm. Motherhood is never simple, and like my projects and creations, it requires energy, patience, and devotion. At times it can be exhausting, but love always carries me forward — love for my daughter, for Alessandro, for nature, for beauty. It is this love that gives meaning to the rituals and allows me to weave together science, self-care, and affection into every day.
